Lithops karasmontana ssp. Bella SB 2181

Named "bella" for being such beautiful little lithops, Lithops karasmontana ssp. bella is a highly variable subspecies, even with seedlings from the same seed pod or pollination.

Hardy and easy to grow, these are relatively large-headed, attractive lithops sure to draw eyes and admiration. Sown in 2021, this batch is from Mesa Garden seed, batch 1625.46. They have been maintained in my greenhouse, with 40% shade and temperatures ranging up to 120F. Seed lot description was for Aus, Namibia, but no Cole number provided.

Large, satiny white flowers produced in fall prior to the plant dividing.
