Does well in-ground in zones 9 to 11, in full sun, although partial shade is recommended in very hot, dry inland areas. When grown in pots, prone to rot if over-watered; err on the side of too little than too much water if concerned.
Over time, will develop a clumping habit, and can spread to be several feet across although this takes years.
